Typical Use: Where the board will be used ie. beachbreak, reef break, point break, and size of surf. Shaping: They style of board you want... Style: Short Board (High Performance, Normal, Hybrid, Fun Board) ### Long Board (Full, Normal, Point) Length: The bottom measured length of the board. This is the standard measure at waterline. If you require deck measurement include in the Shaping Instructions field. Width: Maximum width measured at the widest point of the board, near the centre of the board. Thickness: Maximum thickness at the thickest part of the board, near the centre of the board. Nose & Tail: The width measured 12 inches from each end. Tail design: The outline of the tail - Round Pin, Round Tail, Squash, Round Square, Square, Swallow, Hip, Single Wing, Double Wing. Rails: Midship -- Low, Medium, High. Rails in tail -- High or Sharp. Top Glassing: Standard is 4 or 6 (ounces). If you prefer lighter or heavier glassing, please specify. Patch: Typical is a 4oz. deck patch. If you prefer something different, please specify. Salt Deck: This means you wont have to use wax on the salted area on your board. Its not the choice for everyone, but its convenient and time saving. Just think, you wont have to buy wax! When the board is being crafted, the appropriate area is covered in a mixture of resin and salt, then lightly sanded to create a non-slip area. It adds a unique 'nice touch' to your board. Salt Nose/Tail: The same as salt deck except only on the nose or tail or both, leaving the deck to wax. Airbrush: Depending on customer requirements, some blanks (the foam) are sprayed before glassing. We can arrange for sophisticated graphics depending on your desires and budget. Writing: State whether your want your name, nick name or alias written under the glass. Include the desired text and style in the "Other" field. Gloss & Polish: A highly polished, mirror-like finish as opposed to a dull sanded finish. Clear: No colour, no fabric worked into the resin, no airbrush, just the Jackson Surfboards logo of your choice. Fabric: Cool nose graphics usually are done with fabric. Our choice via your specifications, or you can send us the fabric. (only 100% cotton) Polish finish: As per the 'Gloss & Polish'. Sanded finish: A dull sanded finish. Fins/Boxes: Specify your fin box system that you would like to use for the side fins. Ask for the Jacko super special "cam-lockers"!
